Welcome to the Documentation and Cultural Center of German Sinti and Roma

Dear visitors: Welcome to the Documentation and Cultural Center of German Sinti and Roma. The center is home to the first permanent exhibition documenting the Holocaust against Sinti and Roma: from their gradual exclusion and disenfranchisement to their systematic extermination.

In addition to the exhibition, we would like to encourage a critical awareness of history through events and educational programs. We offer guided tours of the exhibition and workshops upon prior registration.

We have a specialized public library and a collection of historical objects and documents on the topics of the history and culture of the Sinti and Roma, National Socialism and the Holocaust, antigypsyism and civil rights work.

Our counseling service offers nationwide consultation by telephone in the areas of compensation, social law, asylum law, and citizenship law. The Emergency Hotline for Roma from Ukraine provides assistance to refugees and fleeing Roma from Ukraine on legal, social and everyday issues.
